.PDF (Adobe Portable Document Format) .EPS (Encapsulated PostScript), (AI, PSD, TIFF, EPS, PDF, JPEG, PNG, SVG with all fonts outlined). We prefer vector artwork.

Outline all fonts to assure that the fonts don’t change on our side when we open up your file(s). Fonts must be embedded in PDF files.

All color files should be sent in CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black). Any files submitted in RGB may experience unacceptable color shifting. All files submitted in RGB are automatically converted to CMYK. All spot color files should be sent in the pms (pantone match system) colors. Do not combine pms colors with CMYK colors.

All files must include a 1/8″ (0.125 inch) bleed per dimension regardless if your design bleeds to the edge or not. An example of bleed setup for a 4″ x 6″ postcard would be 4.125″ x 6.125″.

The term bleed refers to any design elements that overlap a document’s border. Full bleed printing is the process of printing your artwork on a surface that is slightly larger than the size of the finished product. The excess is then trimmed off, or “cropped,” to get the finished product down to its final size.

Without full bleed printing, any minor paper shift during the production process could result in the color and/or design not extending all the way to one or more of the edges. Professional materials printed via full bleed process are simply more visually attractive and professional looking than materials printed without full bleed.

All images must be at least 300 dpi. We will not be responsible for lower resolution images.

Yes, placing crop marks on your image will indicate exactly where the page will be trimmed. Always submit your artwork at trim size + bleed. An example of bleed setup for a 4″ x 6″ postcard would be 4.125″ x 6.125″.

We suggest that all essential images/text be kept 1/8″ or .125″ inside the trim line to be sure it will not be cut off.

We do not recommend you use a border, however; if you do, it is essential you allow at least 1/16″ of cutting space to around the border to maintain an even appearance.

No, each side of your artwork must be in a separate file. Do not put both front and back in the same file.
